Tim, you naughty boy getting poor Jerilyn to reveal her age!
I really like Jerilyn's 15 minute Valentine idea - I might start that next year, but if I'm still single, it'll have to be with my daughter. She'd get a kick out of it.
As old school as I am, I hate talking on the phone, to real people, these days. Perhaps it's just me being conditioned by the way society works these days. It's kind of sad, I suppose.
Tim, such a lovely thing you do with Amy, those questions. So positive - even a grouch like me is touched by this!
Nerdy technical comment - I love the intro, the music, how smooth it is. I need to take note and work on that for my own podcast.
Such a lovely podcast, a pleasure to listen to, so calming and uplifting -thank you!
Ha! Jerilyn is fully aware of my hijinks and what she's signing up for when she co-hosts. It's why she's such a great one! This whole conversation was a great reminder for me that anything we can do to keep our focus on the very simple ways to connect is always going to generate the most rewards. It's also clear that my podcasts flow much better when I am just talking with someone - banter is key! Thanks for your kind words about my technical skills, which are absolutely rudimentary at best. I guess I'm just not afraid to jump in and play around. Sometimes it works! Thanks for listening, Daniel. Maybe you'll join me for co-hosting duties one day.
That’s such a great point about flowing better when talking, and it’s something I want to work on for my future podcasts, focusing on chit-chat and banter. I also need to figure out my sound settings, in my last couple of podcasts my voice volume is so low that it’s hard to hear me and I can’t seem to get it right! I’m clearly still an amateur…
