For me, writing that generates conversation is the whole reason that I've been blogging for 20+ years. It's what I've yearned for each time I hit publish on a piece, and Substack is finally delivering on that in a small way. I just can't stand the high pressure sales version of a certain sub-division of this platform. I find myself using the mute button quite liberally.
